Resources for my sex coaching clients
If you're the sort of person who loves learning, here are a few of the books, podcasts, websites, and TV shows I’d recommend exploring. It’s not homework, and it’s not essential to living a fulfilling erotic life
BOOKS
The Erotic Mind by Jack Morin
If I could recommend just one book about desire, this might be it. Morin explores why we want what we want, how fantasy shapes our erotic lives, and why desire is often far more nuanced than we imagine. It is thoughtful, intelligent and endlessly fascinating.
Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski
One of the most accessible and important books ever written about desire. Nagoski's work helps explain why desire doesn't work like an on-off switch and why there is nothing wrong with you if your experience of desire looks different from somebody else's.
Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel
Esther Perel has a remarkable ability to ask the questions most people avoid. This book explores the tension between love, security, freedom and desire in long-term relationships. I've recommended it to many people over the years.
Urban Tantra by Barbara Carrellas
A playful and inclusive introduction to embodied sexuality, pleasure and exploration. One of the things I appreciate most about Barbara's work is that she makes these conversations feel approachable rather than intimidating.
WEBSITES
Beducated
A huge online library covering intimacy, relationships, communication, massage, pleasure and erotic exploration. Think of it as a Netflix subscription for curious adults.
OMGYes
One of the best educational resources available for understanding women's pleasure and arousal. Research-based, practical and refreshingly free from nonsense.
Orgasmic Yoga
Joseph Kramer has influenced many modern approaches to erotic embodiment and awareness. His work is less about performance and more about presence.
Wheel of Consent
Created by Betty Martin, this framework has transformed how many people understand touch, boundaries, receiving and giving.

A Final thought
One of the most surprising things I've learned over the years is that information only takes us so far. You can read every book on desire and lsten to every podcast and still miss the most important lesson. The real magic happens when we begin paying attention to ourselves, our bodies, boundaries, and our longings. So, if any of these resources spark your curiosity, wonderful. And if not, perhaps the invitation is simply to slow down, take a breath, and spend a little more time listening to yourself.
Warmly,
Sabine x
